Taking local knowledge and applying it globally

Subsidence, development pressures, sea level rise, water security, climate change, and needs for economic and community resiliency are challenges being faced around the world. Finding solutions that work means integrating all components of numerical modeling, field investigations, monitoring, analysis of socioeconomic and ecosystem changes while providing the decision support that communities need to take action. Hailing from almost a dozen countries, the Institute’s technical team applies the decades of coastal, deltaic, and water knowledge to communities around the world.
