William Chislett is a senior software engineer who works to build and maintain stable, resilient web applications at The Water Institute. His work has significant impact on end-users' experience and satisfaction and directly contributes to expanding the impact of The Water Institute’s cutting-edge science. He is currently working on EnDMC and the Avian Monitoring Portal.
William has over a decade of experience as a full-stack engineer and technical leader with experience designing, building, and scaling web applications. Through his professional experience as a software engineer, web developer, and Python developer, William has solved complex issues regarding performance and stability of programs, developed multiple data integration projects, and focused on both backend and frontend applications. He has deep expertise in Python, React, and cloud-native systems. William has a Bachelors of Science in Physics from the University of Bristol and is a certified AWS Cloud Practitioner and Scrum Master.
