Kristen Green, Director of Finance & Controller, brings over 20 years of financial and accounting experience overseeing millions in revenue yearly and being responsible for budget preparation, audit and tax coordination, cash flow management, accounting, and more.

Kristen graduated with a bachelor’s in accounting from Louisiana Tech University and with a Master of Professional Accountancy from Louisiana Tech University. As a certified public accountant licensed in Louisiana, Kristen performs 40 hours of continuing professional education every year. Kristen has experience as an investigative and senior compliance auditor with the Louisiana Legislative Auditor, Chief Financial Officer of a regional real estate development and construction firm with an over $100 million real estate portfolio and a financial consultant for various clients. Directly prior to joining the Institute, Kristen was controller at a commercial general contractor that averaged $20 million in yearly revenue.
