A native of New Orleans and longtime resident of Baton Rouge, Mary Ann Sternberg earned her bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in history, which has informed much of her research and writing for over forty years. As author of numerous books and articles, Sternberg has taken her love of history, Louisiana culture, and the whimsies of the world to write for a variety of audiences. Her books include “Along the River Road,” Wwinding through Ttime, “The Pelican Guide to Louisiana,” and “River Road Rambler.”
