Save the Date: RFP 3 RESTORE Act Center of Excellence for Louisiana

Dec 20, 2023

The RESTORE Act Center of Excellence for Louisiana (LA-COE) will be releasing a third Request for Proposals (RFP) in early 2024 and is encouraging coastal researchers, both student and professional, to apply for around $4.2 million in competitive grant money.

Projects submitted for these two-year awards must support research directly related to the implementation of Louisiana’s Coastal Master Plan which guides the state’s coastal restoration and protection work.

The funding comes from settlements of the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill. Funding for the LA-COE flows through the Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority.

More information will be available from the Center’s website at www.LA-COE.org in early 2024.

About The RESTORE Act Center of Excellence for Louisiana
