Christy Brown, managing member of NOLA Holdings, LLC, and chair of McIlhenny Company, serves or has served as the chair of numerous community and foundation boards including Audubon Louisiana (retired), Greater New Orleans Foundation (retired), and the Selley Foundation locally, as well as a member of the boards of the James Beard Foundation and the National Audubon Society (retired) and its Leadership Council (retired). Brown’s family has a long history of coastal conservation starting with his great-grandfather E.A. McIlhenny who was credited with helping to save the snowy egret from extinction and the was founding president of Audubon Louisiana. Brown also serves on the corporate boards of Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED and Avery Island, Inc.
