Funding Opportunities

The Water Institute of the Gulf awards grants and contracts to universities and colleges, non-profit organizations, corporations and others that demonstrate the ability to advance the understanding of coastal and deltaic systems through proposed projects or research. Additionally, the Institute may invite proposals for innovative concepts, technologies and techniques for evaluation only. The Institute's 501c3 not-for-profit status allows us to focus on assembling knowledge and technology while building our research capacity, as well as partnering with institutions and organizations to solve challenging water management problems.
